In the Beginning
As a child, in my room, near Nantes, I listen to the radio as usual and suddenly my life takes a turn. A certain Bob, from Minnesota, sings a song in English that I don't understand but that transmits a new frequency to me.
I get a positive vibration and nothing will ever be the same again. It's my revelation. The song talks about new ideas, about transformations, about changing relationships between people. A change is coming and I want to participate. He had found meaning in this adolescence that seemed to have no end:
1) Buy a guitar; 2) Learn to speak English; 3) Write my songs; 4) Sing them. I quickly understand that this connection is going to lead me to others… one of them, so strong that it has brought me here, painting. Bob takes me to the north of England to learn his language and there I see my first graffiti (Street Art) and above all, young people like me painting. I add a notebook and colored pencils to my list and I won't stop until today. After a lot of work, creations and exhibitions in different places, of stays in numerous countries, we are here together. I want to make a painting that transmits positive vibrations and reflects the planet as I feel it, that is: open, supportive, multicultural, who likes to learn, undertake, have fun, enjoy the moment. My painting has traveled, I like to integrate all kinds of influences. I conceive each painting as a song: it tells a story and emits a melody full of details and colors. Open your eyes and your ears.
